Illusion Travels by Streetcar: Two transit workers rob a streetcar destined for the fragment pile, take it on one last run, picking up strange assortment of passengers. Cast includes Lilia Prado, Carlos Navarro, Domingo Soler, Fernando Solo, and Agustin Isunza. (90 minutes, 1953)

Requiem for a Dream: When a youthful guy skids larger into a life of medications, his mom, living on her own in a Brooklyn condo, floats into a fantasy planet after getting caught on weight loss plan tablet. Burstyn is incredible, and Aronofsky uses focus-getting visuals to inform his tale, however his characters' descent into hell is perplexing to watch to affirm the minimum. The Man in the Moon: Ingratiatingly old-styled weeper set in rural Louisiana in 1957, in reference to a l4-year-old gal in love with an older boy, who in turn favors her college-confined sister. Newcomer Witherspoon is vivid as the younger sister more early teenage lightning for controller Mulligan, who guided T Kill a Mockingbird. Pleasantly shot by Freddie Francis. Waterston has some powerful scenes as the gals' dad. Cast includes Sam Waterston, Tess Harper, Gail Strickland, Reese Witherspoon, Jason London, and Ernie Energetic. (99 minutes, 1991)

Lust in the Dirt: Hunter and Divine descend on a New Mexico hellhole-he like most of the cast to pinpoint some buried treasure, she he? to satisfy a fantasy of becoming a bar singer.
