By Jolene Mullins

Cast includes Arthur Kennedy, Kevin J. O'Connor, Vincent Phillip D'Onofrio, Michael Lewis, Fellow Bridges, Kate Reid, Kathy Bates, Mary-Louise Parker, and Georgia Engei. (91 minutes, 1989)

It's the Rage: The lives of a group of seemingly distinct individuals are connected by personal problems which lead to resolutions with guns. This loud satire of individual and cultural brutality gets worse as it goes along, regardless of the attempts of an excellent cast. Cast includes Erland Josephson, Ingrid Thulin, Lena Olin, Nadja PaJrnstjema-Weiss, and Bertil Guve. (112 minutes, 1984)

It Started With a Kiss: An airy comedy in reference to crazy Reynolds and her Army officer spouse Ford, trying to make a go of marriage. The film is set in Spain. Cast includes Glenn Ford, Debbie Reynolds, Eva Gabor, Fred Clark, Edgar Buchanan, and Harry Morgan. (104 minutes, 1959)

Onionhead: A messy film with Griffith joining the Coast Guard in pre WW2 and becoming a ships chef. The film tries to be a comedy, a romance, and a drama at the same time and succeeds at none. Cast includes Andy Griffith, Felicia Farr, Walter Matthau, Erin O'Brien, Joe Mantell, Ray Danton, James Gregory, Joey Bishop, Roscoe Karns, Claude Akins, Peter Brown, and Tige Andrews. (110 minutes, 1958)

Cast includes Sonia Braga, Paulo Cesar Pereio, Vera Fischer, Tarcisio Meira, Maria Lucia Dahl, and Regina Case. (104 minutes, 1981)

Signpost to Murder: A fugitive from an insane asylum finds refuge in home of a female whose spouse is away. Cast includes Stuart Whitman, Joanne Woodward, Edward Mulhare, Alan Napier, Joyce Worsley, and Murray Matheson. (74 minutes, 1965)

Remember, nearly any film you can think of can be downloaded off the web these days. Nervous Breakdown

By Carlo Mueres

A nervous breakdown refers to a mainstream and often-used term to generically describe someone who experiences a bout of mental illness that is so severe, it directly impacts their ability to function in everyday life. The specific mental illness can be anything - depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, or something else. But the reference to a "nervous breakdown" usually refers to the fact that the person has basically stopped their daily routines - going to work, interacting with loved ones or friends, even just getting out of bed to eat or shower.

A nervous breakdown can be seen as a sign that one's ability to cope with life or a mental illness has been overwhelmed by stress, life events, work or relationship issues. By disconnecting from their regular responsibilities and routines, an individual's nervous breakdown may allow them to try and regroup their coping skills and temporarily relieve the stress in their life.

Someone with a nervous breakdown may be seen as having "checked out" from society temporarily. They no longer maintain their social relationships with others, and find it difficult or impossible to go to work and may call in sick multiple days in a row. People with a nervous breakdown often don't even have the coping resources available to take care of themselves, or do much more than rudimentary self-care and maintaining. They may over-eat (if it provides them comfort) or simply fail to eat altogether, not feeling the need or energy to do so.

Since a nervous breakdown is not a clinical or scientific term, it's meaning can also vary in terms of its length and severity, as well as outcomes. Many people who suffer from a nervous breakdown usually seek out treatment (or have treatment sought out on their behalf by a loved one), and treatment is usually on the serious end of the spectrum of all the interventions available. Inpatient hospitalization for a serious nervous breakdown would not be unusual, to help a person become stabilized and find an effective treatment strategy for the mental disorder they're affected by.

People who suffer from a nervous breakdown and seek out treatment for it will usually recover from the most extreme depths of the "breakdown" within a few weeks' time (which may be quickened with inpatient psychiatric treatment). Longer-term recovery usually takes months of ongoing outpatient treatment with mental health specialists, such as a psychiatrist or psychologist.

A nervous breakdown is not a condition to be afraid of, as it is simply an indication of overhwelming stress and mental illness in a person's life. Loved ones and friends of someone who is suffering from a nervous breakdown should be supportive of the individual's efforts in seeking help for it.

Some Informations On RTG Casinos

If you haven't caught on yet, you should know that RTG casinos can be pretty fun. Just think about all the money you can make and the people you can talk to from the comfort of your own office chair. Don't rush into it though! Make sure that you read a few things about RTG casinos first. There are a lot of rules to follow, and they are there for a reason, after all, without rules there would just be chaos!

Play Mechanics

Before you begin to play, there is software to install. The RTG site that you are using will have this software and it will be readily available. So long as you actually have a computer and internet connection, this will be no problem.

Prepare to play, but only after you do these things:

*To begin your download, you will want to pick an RTG casino, and when you have done this, it's time to register. Create a new account in the lobby, and then decide how you want to deposit money into the account. There are many methods that you can use. You could use a credit card, or you could use a wire transfer. It's really up to you, and the options available will depend on what RTG you use. Finish your registration process and click OK.

*You will need to head over to the lobby to deposit your money. When you go there, there should be a 'Cashier' option. This will allow you to make your preferred deposit and you will get in on the game, which is what you've been waiting for.

It's pretty easy to get into the game. There are likely a lot of tables available, and you need only sit down at one. Whether you Video slots, progressive games, real series, whatever you want. You're sure to have a great time!

Player Etiquette

It's common for any place, whether online or off-there are going to be rules. Make sure that you follow these rules so that everyone will be much happier. But if you do not heed the rules, you will more than likely find yourself banned, which is a bad situation for anyone.

* Make sure that you stick with players of your own skill. By doing this you will ensure that everyone has a fun and challenging experience. If you wish to move up in the ranks, play some games for fun so you'll get the hang of the harder games.

* There is usually a chat function, but make sure that you use it with care. Do not abuse the chat with profanities or hate slurs. This can only lead to trouble for you later on.

*If you wish to chat or speak in forums, RTG casinos will demand that yous peak English. Please understand that this isn't a discrimination of any kind, it is simply the most common language, and it is easier if everyone speak it.

Play Limits

When you gamble, you want to make sure that you at least to t responsibly. Yes, it can be a hassle, but set limits for yourself so that you don't end up becoming addicted. When the limit is reached it's quite simple: stop gambling. Don't let it tear your life apart, and don't walk away from everything you know just because of a gambling addiction.

If you follow the rules and set your limits, then you're bound to have a great time with RTG casinos. So get to it, and enjoy!

Some Saddle Parts Need More Maintenance Than Others

By Andre Hansen

When you employ a saddle, there are some bits of a western saddle that should get extra care and upkeep. These parts need to be observed for symptoms of damage because if you don't keep an eye fixed on them, then you can have a bad accident. This includes cleaning and maintaining these parts. You should take care to make certain you have given each part a comprehensive inspection. Some parts, however, can cause you to be injured or killed if you do not do what you want to do.

The top ten parts that should be inspected the most are : (1) the cinch, (two) off billet, (3) cinch connecting strap, (4) cinch tie straps (latigos), (five) stirrup hobbles, (six) stirrup leathers, (seven) saddle strings, (eight) rope strap, (9) horn wrap and (10) the stirrups. Leather can become worn with regular use. If you put the saddle thru heavy use, then the leather can easily be worn very swiftly. This partially relies on the leather and how well it stands up to wear. If it does, then it is to worn out to use.

The top ten parts that should be inspected the majority are : (1) the cinch, (two) off billet, (three) cinch connecting strap, (4) cinch tie straps (latigos), (five) stirrup hobbles, (six) stirrup leathers, (seven) saddle strings, (8) rope strap, (9) horn wrap and (10) the stirrups. This in some measure relies on the leather and how well it stands up to damage. You can test the leather to see if it'll tear easily.

It secures the saddle by being attached to the rigging. It's vital the cinch is in good working order. The rider can fall from the horse and be hurt badly. The off billet and the latigos connect the rigging to the cinch strap. Failure in these parts can suggest the loss of the rider.

Damage on the horn wrap and rope strap relies on how you are using the saddle. However if you're a roper, you might need to replace these parts a couple of times as you are using them more. You may probably replace these when they no longer feel good for you. There are different things that can influence this change. It can be a change in the way the saddle is being used or for some reason there is a change in your seat in the saddle.

How often you will have to modify the parts of a western saddle will be dependent on how rough you are on the saddle. Keeping your saddle well maintained will insure that you and your pony are safe.

Learn To Read The Water To Catch More Fish

By Steve Utley

When reading a book you start out by looking at the cover, and the same is true for fishing. In this case, your cover is the weather and whatever conditions surround you. Note the wind speed and direction, where is the sun, what tidal movement is there if any, the temperature and so on. Whether you are going to fish from a boat, kayak or wade fish this information is vital to your success. It can tell you where to fish and what species you are going to target.

Knowing where to cast once you are on the water can make all the difference in the world. Early on, be quiet and pay attention to any activity around you. Especially notice any schools of mullet or shrimp that are jumping around. Sometimes they are just playing around, but often times this can be a sign that larger game fish are chasing them. Casting in that direction is often a good place to start. Underneath the surface of the water you may also see smaller crabs that are being chased by predators.

Birds are another great fishing indicator, especially when they are feeding. My favorites to follow are the blue heron, pelicans and gulls. All of this wildlife activity is useful if you know how to read it. Not only can it help to find fish but also give clues as to what they are feeding on.

Structures are the next most important thing to pay attention to. The physical layout of the area you are fishing can control the movement of bait fish and predators alike. I tend to focus on drains, which are gaps between islands and sand bars where water flows from shallow to deep areas. When there is a lot of tidal movement these areas have a TON of bait fish passing through, with some nice speckled trout and redfish sure to follow.

I use a bone topwater lure to recon the area. Once fish are located by a strike or a blow-up, I switch to a soft plastic either weightless or not, but always weedless. Then I start working the area probing for that big bite. I section the drain area and work each one with maybe 3 or 4 casts before moving on.

My lure of choice is a Brown Lure Devil Eye or Sea Devil. There are tons of colors to choose from, and we each have our own favorite. My favorite is Little Pinky (pink with silver hologram). It has been a proven color for me in clear to muddy water for over a year. This method of fishing works well, and I use it whether fishing for fun, with clients, or in tournaments.

Learning to read this "living book" can give you a real advantage the next time that you go fishing. As always, pay attention to the weather, wildlife and structure to get the most out of your day. Time and practice will teach you what all of these clues mean, so go out and test it for yourself. Good Luck Fishing!

Reign in the mystery on ABC Lost

By JD Theis

The amount of mystery that abounds in the plot of the ABC lost, more than that surrounds the latest scoops from the ABC studios and production sites where the filming of the next and the ultimate season of the lost is in full swing.

A source close to a major entertainment site said that the creators have revealed so much in the opening episodes itself of the season six that the ABC executives have given the productions team strict instructions to not release any clips from the opening scenes, even for the purpose advertising and publicity campaign.

So we will all be kept in obscurity while the mystery will continue to reign. One can just hope that the ABC lost airs at the time when the anxieties of the fans regarding the plight and the fate of the survivors of Oceanic Flight 815 reaches its zenith. What will happen?? Nobody knows.

The season six is scheduled to be aired in 2010, but when nobody knows. But one thing is for sure. Lost on ABC will be missed big time by the fans all over the world. It unleashed a revolution of sorts in the entertainment industry.

Till the telecast of its first episode in 2004, no one had witnessed a TV show of such size and scale as the ABC Lost. Nor one had imagined that it would be possible to play with the abstract entities like the supernatural elements, the fourth dimension time and the fate, whose existence still hangs in mid-air but as the show has it, plays a very important role in the lives of the people.

The show has provided seasonal dose of drama and entertainment and also some insight into the life's tragedies and realities and a belief that in the end, all is well that ends well and also that whatever happens, happens for the good. Needless to say, the ABC lost did a lot of good for people associated with it in some or the other form. The actors, creators and the producers to whom it bought instant fame and glory, the fans to whom it provided redemption from the stereotypical plots aired on the entertainment networks.

Top 8 Ways To Spot A Poker Bluff (Even Online!)

Spotting a poker bluff online is tricky. In offline play, you can watch body language and get physical cues as to when someone is bluffing. Usually unless they are a professional, all poker players give off signs they are bluffing through body language. Online, though, you don't have the ability to read body language, so how can you tell if someone is bluffing?

People still give off signals, even online, that they are bluffing. Some are better at covering, but others are a little loose and easy to catch. Either way, the following are 8 ways that you can spot a poker bluff online.

1. Pay attention to chatter. Some people cannot seem to hold their tongue. Some people who bluff will be chatting away. What they say may not match up to how they play and that is what you are watching for. Players may just reveal their bluff in what they say without ever realizing it.

2. A person bluffing may raise before the flop and quickly raise again. They are driving up the pot and hoping you don't have a hand you feel confident about.

3. If someone jumps into the game quickly or chooses to sits out and then changes their mind right as the cards are being dealt then they are someone to watch. They probably won't have a good hand, but are simply impatient. If they keep raising or they call quickly then chances are they are bluffing.

4. It is always smart to watch someone who goes all in with a low show on the table. This person may just be ready to call it a day and figures why not go out on a high note.

5. Get to know playing styles. The best players mix up their style, but your average player will usually follow the same general patterns. If someone starts playing odd then they should be watched. They may have a good hand, but chances are they are trying to bluff. Get to know the other players styles so you can spot when things are not quite right.

6. Watch aggressive or loose players. If you notice someone who is always playing aggressively then you never really know when to trust them because they cannot possible have an amazing hand every time.

7. Another thing about watching players - watch what is shown at the end. If someone keeps falling short then you know they like to bluff and you will keep an eye on them in the future.

8. People who play fast are a danger. Someone who is just playing fast and not putting thought into what they are doing is a loose cannon. They may not even have a clue how to play. Don't let them get you. Watch what they play and don't buy into their bluff.

These 8 ways to spot a poker bluff should help you to start being able to cut through the bluffs that are thrown your way online. After some practice and some time you should start to be able to spot online bluffs just as easily as you do during an offline game.

Bar Girls: Friendly if faulty romantic comedy with a twist: most of its chief characters are lesbians who assemble at L.A.'s Girl Bar. The core personality is compulsive, wryly ludicrous Loretta Wolfe, a female Woody Allen who desires an exact better half but not truly grasping what it means to genuinely and entirely love another person. The film's shortcomings are made up for by witty discussion and believable characters. Cast includes Nancy Allison Wolfe, Liza D'Agostino, Camila Griggs, Justine Slater, Lisa Parker, and Pam Raines. (95 minutes, 1994)

Copycat: Helen Hudson is being asked out of retirement to investigate a baffling set of murders. Hudson is a forensic psychologist specialized in serial killers. With detective M.J. Monahan, the two start to uncover the mystery. When the killer learns the two are tracking him, they become his next target.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Cute variance on vampire legends, with high school valley girl Swanson turning out to be "the selected one" of her generation to kill wandering vampires. Sutherland is superlative as her mentor and guide, and Reubens the prior Pee-wee Herman is fun as one of the fanged bullies. Look for Ben Affleck as a basketball player. Cast includes Kristy Swanson, Donald Sutherland, Paul Reubens, Rutger Hauer, Luke Perry, and Gregson Wagner. (86 minutes, 1992)

5 Best Value Toy Trends for Xmas 2009

By Ellie Evergreen

This Christmas there are a wide variety of toys that are available on the market. This gives you the chance to get the items that are on your children's wish lists. It also gives you the opportunity to find toys and games that will fit your holiday budget. A lot of toys even if they are name brands will be well within your spending limits this holiday shopping season. You just have to know where to look. Here are some great suggestions that will give you the most value for your money.

Video games are fast becoming one of the dominant items on kid's list of toys during the holiday. New technology and more game titles are making them even more appealing. The three main consoles that most parents have been wracking their brain to get have been the Sony Playstation 3, Nintendo Wii, and the Xbox 360. What makes this holiday shopping season different is that this will be the first holiday season that all three of the major game systems will see a price cut. There are also some anticipated games that will be released as well. If you have not purchased a system yet a good option is the Nintendo Wii. Its motion sensor controls makes game play easy to learn and it has wide selection of games that will appeal to every member of your family.

Board games are also an affordable option that is improving. The board games have been around for centuries if not millennia and even with video games they are still popular. There are still many kinds on the market that make great presents for your kids. Games like Monopoly even have different versions that can be custom made for movies, schools, and even have an electronic version. Board games are a great investment because they are something that the entire family can enjoy together with numerous outcomes. This way playing the games does not become old.

Another route is Green Toys. These are toys that are made with recycled products. These are often cheaper than their regular counter parts but have the same quality. This is great because you can kill two birds with one stone. You are helping the environment while buying something affordable and still on par with what you would be normally buying for your kids. There are many examples like plastic construction toys and even stuffed animals.

Learning toys are a great value purchase for younger children. It is becoming more obvious that early education and teaching your kids the basic is important for future success in school. The big problem has been that many kids fail to learn because it isn't fun or interesting. It is normally boring repetition and exercises. The innovation of learning toys is different. These toys not only help kids learn basic skills like reading and arithmetic, but do it using play. Many of them are basically video games or physical toys. If you want to give something that will allow your kids to learn easily these toys are definitely a good investment.

Another thing you can do is help your kids believe in Santa. A great idea is to order a personalized call from Santa Claus. These can be customized with information about your child's good deeds for the year and what they wanted for Christmas. This is sure to be hugely popular with the kids and reaffirm their faith in Santa.

How To Count Cards

Card counting is a common strategy used to play and win at blackjack. If you have wanted to learn how to count cards, but have been worried it is too hard, then read on. You are about to learn simple steps to counting cards that will get you started. If you want additional information there are plenty of great resources all over the internet that teach the various methods of card counting. This should be enough, though, to get you started in card counting.

The high-low system is one of the most common methods of counting cards. It is also one of the easiest systems to understand. Before you start to learn how to count cards, you need to understand that card counting is not really about counting the actually number of cards, but rather figuring the ratio of high to low cards that remain in the deck. It may seem confusing, but just follow along and you should start to understand.

Assigning Values

In the high-low system you will assign point values to each card. Low cards include 2,3,4,5 and 6. These cards get a value of plus one. High cards are the 10,jack,queen,king and ace. These cards get a value of minus one. Neutral cards are the 7,8 and 9. They get no value assigned to them.

To begin with learning to count cards you should practice memorizing the values of each card. Go through a deck over and over reciting the card values until you are sure you have them memorized.

Keep the Running Count

Once you are feeling that you have the card values memorized you can start working with keeping a running count. This is more practice to get you ready for the actual game.

To keep a running count you start with a value of 0. As you flip over cards from your deck you will add or subtract the values. For example, if you have a king, queen, 2 and 8 you would end up with a count of minus 1.

Keeping the running count will likely take much more practice that just memorizing the values. It is essential, though, that you get keeping the running count down perfectly. You should keep practicing until it becomes like second nature and you don't hesitate anymore in figuring the count.

True Count

Once you are ready to play an actual game and count the cards during the game you will go from a running count to the true count. To do this you keep the running count and divide it by the number of cards remaining in the deck. The true count will tell you what to bet.

If the true count is positive then bet more. If it is negative then don't bet as much. This allows you to play smart and only bet when you have a good chance of winning. In the end you will likely win more than you lose. Card counting can be a great way to start improving your odds at the blackjack table and help you start to make more when you play.

You must first start by getting an exercise routine for yourself. A trainer from the gym can help you out with developing goals and plan that you need to follow to attain them. Your entire weekly schedule must be in place well in advance, and this should include how much weight you will lift, the type of exercises you will engage in and the number of repetitions you plan to carry out for a specific exercise.

Lastly, a very important aspect of any gym program is the diet. Gym dieticians can guide you on the diet you should follow that will help your body to replenish the proteins and carbohydrates that are consumed during your workouts.

How The Top Poker Players Will Beat You

Have you ever wondered how the professional poker players get so good? What tricks do they use? What skills have they developed to be able to win so big? Most of all, how can you learn these things so you can start playing like a pro?

You need to develop the characteristics of a top poker player. You need to practice and start figuring out what things the pros do that you should do. Here are some tips on how to play like a pro:

- Know that you will lose. It is a fact that you will not win every hand. However, accept it. Don't let it get you down. Don't get into a slump. Don't let yourself believe that the odds are against you just because you see to be having a bad day. The odds stay the same. If you generally can expect that you have a 3% chance of losing in any given game then you will always have that 3% chance of loss. It doesn't matter what kind of day you are having.

- Focus on winning. Being greedy is a part of playing the game. Your goal is to win. Every player at the table has that same goal. You have to be focused on yourself. Don't make friends at the table. You should always be out for yourself and only yourself. Being greedy gets you focused and makes you better able to win.

- Don't bring your problems to the table. A good player leaves life behind when they sit down at the table. If you cannot get past something that has happened in your outside life then just don't play. You have to leave everything behind in order to really play the game.

- You must be focused and dedicated tot he game. Top players know that focus is key. You cannot be thinking about anything but the game. You cannot let anything take your attention away from the game. You must put everything into the game and be dedicated 100%.

Professional poker players are serious about the poker game. They are not out there to just have fun and socialize. They are there to win. If you want to play like a pro then you have to think and act like one. They look so serious for a reason - they are serious.

You have to have the right attitude and your mind must be focused. If you really want to be a top player then you can be. Just follow all the advice in this article, stick to it and one day you will be the top player everyone envies.

Find Your Home Away From Home In A Golf Del Sur Hotel

By Michael Sinise

In recent years, playing golf has taken the world by storm, not only for professional players, but for recreational players too! Because of the popularity of this game which combines nature, leisure, exercise and even business the past decade has seen many Golf courses being built and Golf del Sur Hotel in Spain (the Canary Islands) is just one of these.

There are 27 holes in-total, 18 and 9, at this green oasis of golf fun; these are professional courses and because of this Golf del Sur has become one of the top destinations for golf holidays! Golf holidays have changed; resorts have been built on these courses and this brings a whole new meaning to the traditional idea of the "golfing holiday".

Gone are the days of the "Golf Widow" the entire family goes along on these holidays. More and more women are enjoying playing golf with their spouses, but if this is not your thing, no problem, the resort will still take care of your every need; so get a spa treatment while hubby is on the course and pack the kids off to take part in organized activities.

Aymerich Golf Management is a leading developer of golf courses in Europe, they developed and manage Golf del Sur Hotel, as well as well developed network of other courses. This Spanish site is TUV certified ISO 14001 as a Golf Biosphere, and were one of the first courses to become practitioners of environmental policies.

Bars and cafes abound in the locality, relaxation and refreshment can be had at any opportunity. In the evening you can check out a nightclub were you can socialize and mingle with other visitors. The liveliest discos are found in Playa de las Americas and Los Cristianos which are a short taxi ride away.

The hope is that other golf courses will follow this bio-diversification. In Africa they have this, and it is not unusual to see crocodiles and hippo in water traps when playing near the Kruger Park. However unlike Golf del Sur, it is not possible to welcome family pets to these courses, they may get eaten by the wild-life, fortunately this is not so in Spain.

Weather Types Determined By Earth's Position Near The Sun

By Ken Morris

The Earth is able to support life as we know it here because the sun and the atmosphere come together to form the climates in which people are able to survive. Without the sun, the Earth would be a frozen mass and without the atmosphere there would be no water to freeze.

The circulation of the Earth creates wind, and when wind is combined with sun and water, climates are created. Air pressure is created when the air molecules on Earth become dense. The denser the molecules are, the higher the air pressure is. Air at sea level exerts approximately 14.5 pounds of pressure per square inch.

Air molecules are always moving. Their speed of movement is dependent on the temperature surrounding them. Higher temperatures cause more frequent motion; cooler temperatures make air molecules move much slower. Convection occurs when an air mass warms up, expands, rises, and causes the air mass to become lighter. Convection happens all of the time, but it happens in irregular patterns. As the warm air rises, it cools, as it cools, it goes back down again. This constant movement also changes the air pressure of an area.

Low pressure occurs where the air is on its way up. High pressure occurs when the air molecules are all coming together, heating up and sinking down onto the ground. The movement creates wind and the more movement there is, the stronger the force of the wind. The changes in weather formations are often determined by these movements.

The Earth moves around in a complete circle in 24 hours. It moves around the sun in this circular pattern in 8760 hours, or 365 days, and creates what we call a year. The elliptical shape of the orbit of the Earth around the sun brings the Earth closer to the sun at particular times during the orbit. The position of the Earth toward or away from the sun determines the heat and light directed at the Earth, leading to the changes that occur during the day and night. This position on the orbit, depending on the position of the location on the Earth determines the season. The tilt of the Earth on its axis of about 23.5 degrees is what determines what happens where and what weather types exist where.

During the month of December, the North Pole tilts away from the sun and the South Pole tilts closer. This makes the Northern Hemisphere colder and darker during this time. As the Earth moves along, it changes its poles' positions and in 6 months, the sun is closest to this same part of the Earth. During this time, the Northern Hemisphere is much warmer and the days are much longer. This explains the different weather styles that occur at the same time, such as is how it is summer in the United States when it is winter in Australia.

Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band by The Beatles

By James Ronald Wellingston

This album has become like a "museum piece" because of the way people talk about it with such reverence. Unfortunately this means that not enough people are focusing on what makes the album special in the first place: the music. This article is an attempt to take this album out of the museum and into the ears by focusing on it's music instead of it's "historical significance."

01. "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" - This is a brilliant way to start the album and it really sets the mood for the entire thing. The "concept" of the album is really quite loose, without this song there is no concept album! One thing I really dig about this song is the crazy horns section. Can you imagine many "rock bands" of today having the imagination to include something like that in their song?

02. "With a Little Help from my Friends" - I much prefer this original Beatles version over the completely over the top Joe Cocker version that is probably more famous at this point (mostly because it was used as the theme song to the very popular Wonder Years TV show.) To me it's the perfect song for Ringo to sing and of course John & Paul wrote it specifically for Ringo. It fits like a glove. What a brilliant song.

03. "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" - This psychedelic journey through the mind of John Lennon remains one of the band's most famous songs. I love how it goes from the visions of the verse to the exciting sing along of the chorus.

04. "Getting Better" - The "it couldn't get much worse" lyric that Lennon added to this McCartney song is such a great example of the way that Lennon and McCartney made each others songs better even when they weren't righting them "eyeball to eyeball" like in the early days.

05. "Fixing a Hole" - Possibly the best lyrics Paul McCartney ever wrote. Another one of my favorites on an album filled with favorites.

06. "She's Leaving Home" - Another great reason to get The Beatles in Mono Box Set. This song sounds faster and higher (by a semitone) in the mono version. It's a treat to hear!

07. "Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite" - I think my favorite part of this song is the cut up tape section where it sounds like sort of insane random carnival music.

08. "Within You Without You" - Speaking of "far out" how about we go all the way to India? Some people don't like this song because it doesn't fit with their preconceived notions of what music is supposed to sound like. To me this song is brilliant because of that very reason. We shouldn't limit ourselves.

09. "When I'm Sixty-Four" - I love how quickly the musical styles change with this album. We go from a carnival to India to music hall!

11. "Lovely Rita" - I have to admit that tracks #10 and #11 are probably my least favorites on the album. But considering I quite like both of those tracks, that says a lot about how much I love this album.

11. "Good Morning Good Morning" - There's some interesting time changes in this one. I also love the Jimi Hendrix style guitar leads by Paul McCartney.

12. "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (Reprise)" - This song, of course, ties together the whole album by linking us back to the first song. It gives the impression that everything we've been hearing (even though it's all of these wildly different styles) has been a part of one big performance by this fictional band.

13. "A Day in the Life" - The greatest song ever.

A Couple Of Quick Motion Picture Plot Lines To Go Over

By Chester Moses

With a shop near every neighborhood, video stores have been the most convenient way to get movies for years. The next generation it seems will be getting their movies from movie downloads, avoiding any trips to the store. Let's look at what you might find to watch using a movie download site.

Natural Born Killers: Mary Mallory is a teenager with an abusive father. After falling in love with Mickey, they viscously murder Mary's parents. Now they are on the run along Rt. 666. As they run, they go on killing sprees, usually leaving one person alive that can recount the events. As time continues they become a media sensation, almost national heroes.

The Ploughman's Lunch: Difficult, skeptical condemnation of British behaviors, ethics and affairs of state, focusing on the exercises of completely selfish journalist (Pryce) and others throughout the Falklands battle. The film is relatively perceptive, within the restraints of its outlook. Cast includes Jonathan Pryce, Tim Curry, Rosemary Harris, Blunt Finlay, and Charlie Dore. (100 minutes, 1983)

The Night of the Following Day: Excellent cast makes this sordid story of a young gal's abduction somehow more fascinating than it should be; pretty coarse in spots. Cast includes Marlon Brando, Richard Boone, Rita Moreno, Pamela Franklin, Jess Hahn, and Gerard Buhr. (93 minutes, 1969)

The Game: Nicolas Van Orton is a very wealthy man who has it all, but is bored stiff. Then, all of a sudden, his world is turned upside down. Nicolas is drawn into an impossible and intriguing situation. His life is turned upside down. This wild adventure he is on, is actually planned, it is a birthday gift from his brother Conrad.

Prospero's Books: At first challenging although unsatisfactory adaptation of Shakespeare's The Tempest, with most of the dialog mentioned by 87-year-old Gielgud (in the role of Prospero); the other performers are little more than an add on, and there's a mind boggling amount of nudity. The film is stuffed with shocking, layered imagery, attractive production layout and cinematography. Pleasure can rely on your patience for Greenaway's approach to the material. Cast includes John Gielgud, Michael Clark, Michel Blanc, Isabelle Pasco, and Tom Bell. (129 minutes, 1991)

Murder on Monday: Graceful all-megastar production of Agatha Christie's whodunit set in the 1930s, with unrecognizable Finney as the master-sleuth Hercule Poirot, and all his suspects on the same railroad train. Vibrant amusement, although severely slow paced. Bergman won Best Supporting Actress Oscar. Cast includes Albert Finney, Lauren Bacall, Martin Balsam, Ingrid Bergman, Jacqueline Bisset, Jean-Pierre Cassel, Sean Connery, John Gielgud, and Wendy Hiller. (128 minutes, 1974)

Stage Fright: Theater student Wyman turns covert sleuth because an actress' spouse is killed. There are some stimulating scenes however the Mr. Hitchcock misses on this one. Cast includes Marlene Dietrich, Jane Wyman, Richard Todd, Kay Walsh, Aastair Sim, Joyce Grenfell, Sybil Thorndike, and Patricia Hitchcock. (110 minutes, 1950)

Ali G. Indahouse: Before he carried Borat to the gigantic monitor, Tycoon Cohen's other Television doppelganger made his characteristic debut in this raunchy sham in which the off-color British gangster rapper wannabe looks for riches. It is stupid and tasteless, however additionally sarcastic and relatively ludicrous. Cast includes Sacha Cohen, Michael Gambon, Charles Dance, Kellie Radiant, Martin Freeman, Rhona Mitra, Barbara Newt, and Emilio Rivera. R. (88 minutes, 2002)

Say It Isn't So: Pleasantly un-ambitious Klein falls for the new hairdresser in town Graham. They have consensual sex and then Klein discovers that Graham is his sister. It is a total flop. Cast includes Heather Graham, Chris Klein, Orlando Jones, Sally Field, Richard Jenkins, John Rothman, Brent Briscoe, and Sarah Silverman. (96 minutes, 1988)

If you're looking for downloads, type in "Film Rental" to a search engine, see if you find something good. If that phrase gets you nowhere, try another phrase. Try "Downloading Movies" next.

Borderline: An abnormal thriller comedy in which L.A. cop Trevor tries to assemble proof contrary to cunning drug smuggler Burr when mixing with hard gentleman MacMurray in Mexico. Starts out promisingly, although eventually slows down in silliness. Burr makes a lucid scoundrel. Cast includes Fred MacMurray, Claire Trevor, Raymond Burr, Jose Torvay, Morris Ankrum, and Roy Roberts. (88 minutes, 1950)

I Wake Up Screaming: An amusing whodunit with Grable and Mature accused in the death of Betty's sis, chased by decided cop Cregar. The film ends with an excellent twist. Cast includes Betty Grable, Victor Mature, Carole Landis, Laird Cregar, William Gargan, Alan Mowbray, Allyn Joslyn, and Elisha Cook. (82 minutes, 1941)

Afurika Monogatari: Guide Sayer crashes his jet in wilds of Africa and comes upon a game conserve. Even old Jimmy is uninteresting. The movie was filmed in Kenya. Cast includes James Stewart, Philip Sayer, Kathy, Eleanora Vallone, and Heekura Simba. (120 minutes, 1981)

After Hours: A normal man goes through a succession of weird experiences throughout one remarkable day in N.Y.C. How much you like this joke bad dream can rely on how precisely you relate to Dunne, the only common individual in the film! Cast includes Griffin Dunne, Rosanna Arquette, Verna Bloom, Thomas Chong, Linda Fiorentino, Teri Garr, John Heard, Cheech Marin, Catherine O'Hara, Dick Miller, and Bronson Pinchot. (97 minutes, 1985)

The Bellboy: Entertaining succession of blackouts with Jerry as a bellboy at Fontainebleau in Miami Shore. The film has no structure although a lot of outrageous gags. Milton Berle and Walter Winchell have short appearances. This was Jerry Lewis's directorial debut. Cast includes Jerry Lewis, Alex Gerry, Bob Clayton, and Sonny Sands. (120 minutes, 1960)

Describing a Unique Martial Art

By Sven Person

Taido is a fighting style founded in Japan by Seiken Shukumine.

Taido has its foundations in pre-modern Japanese fighting.

Fearing that Budo, particularly karate, were failing to meet the needs of modern society, Shukumine founded a school of Budo called Genseiryu in the early 1950s.

Later, Shukumine saw karate as uninspired and unchanging. He became convinced that the limitations of karate lay in its linearity.

In 1965, he expanded his theories of motion beyond the boundaries of karate and established Taido.

Shukumine thought about how to make techniques more flexible and applicable.

Taido's movements offered many innovations: the inclusion of spinning and twisting movements, gymnastic maneuvers, fast and effective footwork, and a changing body axis. The word Taido translates as "way of the body."

So what makes Taido different from karate? Taido techniques use changes of the body's bearing in order to expedite simultaneous defense with attacking movements. Taido also relies on the use of footwork to take strategic angles and distance to the opponent. This footwork is functionally connected to the body mechanics that form the basis of each kick, punch, or other technique. Taido uses exciting body movement to create strong techniques and control the spatial relationship with the opponent.

Taido's strategic element is based on appropriate reaction to changing challenges instead of preset algorithms of offensive maneuvers and defense. Taido's movements are also designed for improving health and longevity.

Taido's original ideal was, and continues to be, the application of scientific methods and classical values to the future of the martial arts.

Taido's original objective was, and continues to be, the application of scientific methods and classical values to the evolution of the martial arts. According to its creator, Taido's ultimate objective is to equip its students to function at a high level in society.

There are five main principles in Taido. Keep your thoughts as clear and uncluttered as the polished surface of a still pond. This allows you to understand the heart of things. Having a responsive attitude will allow you to make the best decisions. Be well-prepared. Body and mind should be united. Bear yourself with dignity and you need never fear insult. Invigorate your spirit with proper breathing methods. With the right spirit you will never be threatened. In every action, follow the correct precepts you have trained. By doing so, you react quickly. Be adaptable in your thought and keep freedom of physical movement. The right technique will prevent you from being defeated.

Taido includes five classes of body movements: vertical spinning movement, rising and falling jumping movement, lever-like movement characterized by tilting the body's axis, horizontal spinning movement, and acrobatic movements.

These movements are follwed by strikes, kicks, and other attacks. The last category, called "tentai," includes gymnastic movements, for instance somersaults, which makes Taido spectacular to watch.

Taido has a special method of footwork, known as unsoku, and acrobatic locomotion, termed unshin.

Tournaments in Taido include Jissen, forms, and Tenkai, which is a mock combat between one "hero" and five opponents. In Tenkai the judges give scores to the teams in a similar manner as is done in many Olympic sports.

Even after saying all that, unless you've actually experienced Taido, you likely still won't have any concrete concept of what Taido is about. Also, merely knowing about the techniques doesn't tell you what Taido is necessarily about. To really get any budo, you have to get an idea of why the techniques are performed as they are.

To really grok any martial art, you have to get an idea of why the techniques are performed as they are.

Of course, Taido is an evolving art, so no definition can really encompass everything that Taido is. Each student eventually develops their own ways to apply Taido to what they do and skills. Taido itself emphasizes creativity and the development of new techniques.

It is not a martial art that will remain the same for long.

Taido is currently practiced in Japan, Sweden, Finland, Portugal, Denmark, France, Great Britain, the Netherlands, Australia, and the USA.

Red Light Errors

By Nikcey Derwin

There are numerous computer game consoles available in the marketplace for the video game lovers. But many of them aren't branded. The number 1 Nintendo games consoles are Xbox, rich kid, PlayStation, Wii, for example. Xbox and PlayStation are the top competitors in the video game industry. Microsoft's Xbox 360 and Sony's PlayStation two hit the market at the same time. Microsoft launched Xbox 360 in late 2005 and just before that ; Sony launched its PlayStation 2.

Problem with Xbox 360

even though Xbox 360 is the number 1 computer game console, they are facing the large number of console failure. Many analyses have been done to find out the problem and it was discovered that the failure is because of the overheating of the console. Due to overheating of the console, the chips in the motherboard get damaged and entire motherboard is getting failed. The cause of the internal temperature is due to insufficient air flow inside the console. Lack of proper design and poor ventilation led to failure of hardware components in the console. Microsoft launched Xbox 360 in a hurry just before Xmas to get more sales. This is the actual reason for the failure in the design.

The X clamp situated in the motherboard is the main problem. These X clamps hold the heat sinks to reduce the heat and cool down the processors. But due to improper arrangement of the X clamps, the heat sinks fail to work. Xbox have the special feature to point out the status of the console, when it works well or when it becomes into difficulty. The four LED's situated around the power ring area will indicate the status of the console. Removing the X clamps will figure out the red light problem. The overheating blunder will be indicated by the red lights. This is often known as Red Ring of Death or RRoD mistakes. This mistake causes the console to hang up and the game freezes at the play. The red lights also indicate differing types of errors according to the number of red lights which flashes in the power ring area.

Solution

You can repair the console on your own, without spending much money. All you need to do is remove the XClamps of the motherboard so that more atmospheric air flows in to the console from the base of the console. This is very easy to do and it can be done in just an hour with aid from normal household tools like screwdrivers.

Microsoft has designed Xbox with its own hardware parts and with its own codes running on chips. This is the first invention in the history of Microsoft for planning its own hardware, although developing gaming software is a well known field for the Microsoft corporation. Developing things for the 1st time does have some failing ; because of this reason the hardware designed by the Microsoft Corporation has different kind of mistakes within the console and the RED LIGHT blunder is the commonest kind of error occurring with the Xbox 360 due to hardware failure.
