Films From The Internet

By Shawn Mcpherson

With a shop near every neighborhood, video stores have been the most convenient way to get movies for years. You can now save a trip to the video store and download movies right off the internet. Below, is a sample of some of the movies you can find using movie download sites.

Wild Hogs: Four men decide to escape their suburban existence for a while, and hit the open road on their motorcycles. Looking for a change of pace form the stresses of work and home, they think this trip is the perfect solution. After a run in with the Del Fuegos, a real biker gang, they find they might be in for more than they bargained for.

Shining Through: The movie is set in WWII. Linda Voss is a legal secretary with a Jewish relative in Germany. She figures out her boss is working for the government on covert operations. She wants to help, and she speaks German. She eventually gets an assignment to go undercover in Germany. What will her fate be?

The Red Shoes: Finished with integrity and a pulsing stone soundtrack. Cast includes Anton Walbrook, and Marius Gorin. (133 minutes, 1948)

The Music of Chance: Dense thriller in regards to telepathic, suicidal Ivanek, powerless to command his powers, who moves his bad dreams to psychiatrist Harrold and causes chaos in a clinic. Cast includes James Spader, Mandy Roger Orristian, Kathryn Harrold, Zeljko I vanek, Shirley Horseman, and Harry Ditson. (98 minutes, 1993)

Pearl Harbor: Part old-styled silver-monitor romance, part boys' venture, part enormous re-creation of December seven, 1941: a gigantic Hollywood film. Infrequent silliness and anticlimactic rendering of Doolittle's pillage on Tokyo are counter-act by thrilling and appalling illustration of the scandalous bombing assault on Pearl. Cast includes Ben Affleck, Josh Hartnett, Kate Beckinsale, Cuba Gooding, Jr., Alec Baldwin, Jon Voight, and Catherine Kellner. (183 minutes, 2001)

Little Women: Glossy is a redo of Louisa Might Alcott's pleasant account of adolescent girls finding maturation and romantically set. Cast includes June Allyson, Peter Lawford, Margaret O'Brien, Elizabeth Taylor, Janet Leigh, and Mary Astor. (121 minutes, 1949)

Straight to Hell: "Self-indulgent" is an understated way of explaining this spaghetti Western spoof, written by cult controller Cox and costar Impolite. Has the insistent air of a hip in-wisecrack, with the exception of that it isn't ludicrous. Cast includes Sly Richardson, Joe Strummer, Dick Offensive, Courtney Love, Dennis Basket, and Jim Jarmusch. (86 minutes, 1987)

Saw: Two men are trapped in a room. Both men are chained to their half of the room. A story unfolds as these two people are given clues and information about the situation they are in and why. Can they solve the puzzle and get out alive?

Like Water for Chocolate: Striking and sensuous film from a novel by Laura Esquivel, the controller's then-spouse, set in the early part of the 20th century: a youthful female's life is conditioned first by her serious and unyielding mom, and more vital, by the swamping electricity of grilling. Sumptuous legend-not without humor-with a excellent cast and a top-dent behavior from steel actress Cavazos. Cast includes Lumi Cavazos, Marco Leonardi, Regina Tome, Mario I minivan Martinez, and Ada Carrasco. (113 minutes, 19
