A Few Quality Motion Picture Story Lines To Look At

By Bill Harrington

It used to be that you had to go to the video store to get a movie. High speed internet access has now made it possible to download movies right off a movie download site. Here are some examples of movies you can acquire through a movie download site.

Born On The Fourth Of July: A true story that chronicles the life of Ron Kovic. A volunteer in the army, Ron does a tour in Vietnam, where he suffers injuries that leave him paralyzed. After his disturbing treatment by the government, and harrowing experiences in VA hospitals, Ron becomes an anti war activist. He feels completely betrayed by the country that he fought for.

Jackie Chan's Who Am I: Chan is part of a secret armed forces team sent on a lethal mission. He loses his memory, and can't figure out why people are after him. This is an action film with very little else to it. Cast includes Jackie Chan, Michelle Ferre, Mirai Yarnarnoto, Ron Smerczak, Ed Nelson, and Tom Pompert. (108 minutes, 1998)

Bad Santa: Willie Stokes has an interesting gig. Every year he works as Santa Clause on Christmas Eve. When the shops close, Willie and his partner make a big score by breaking into the safe.

Single White Female: Alison Jones has just dumped her fiance, and now needs a roommate to keep her apartment. She puts out a classified ad, and eventually chooses Hedra Carlson. Will Hedra be a good choice? Or has Alison made a huge mistake.

Jackson County Jail: Captive Yvette is dumped on by everyone she meets. So she goes on the lam with another inmate in yet a new chase movie. Livelier than most, this one has developed a cult notoriety. Miller later redid it for Television. Cast includes Yvette Miruieux, Tommy Lee Jones, Robert Carradine, Frederic Chef, Severn Darden, Howard Hesseman, and Mary Woronov. R.' (89 minutes, 1976)

Red Tomahawk: Commander Keel saves the town from the Sioux Indians in this Western film with lots of likable actors in the cast. Cast includes Howard Keel, Joan Caulfield, Broderick Crawford, Scott Brady, Wendell Corey, Richard Arlen, and Donald Barry. (82 minutes, 1967)

Bar Girls: Friendly if faulty romantic comedy with a twist: most of its chief characters are lesbians who assemble at L.A.'s Girl Bar. The core personality is compulsive, wryly ludicrous Loretta Wolfe, a female Woody Allen who desires an exact better half but not truly grasping what it means to genuinely and entirely love another person. The film's shortcomings are made up for by witty discussion and believable characters. Cast includes Nancy Allison Wolfe, Liza D'Agostino, Camila Griggs, Justine Slater, Lisa Parker, and Pam Raines. (95 minutes, 1994)

Copycat: Helen Hudson is being asked out of retirement to investigate a baffling set of murders. Hudson is a forensic psychologist specialized in serial killers. With detective M.J. Monahan, the two start to uncover the mystery. When the killer learns the two are tracking him, they become his next target.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Cute variance on vampire legends, with high school valley girl Swanson turning out to be "the selected one" of her generation to kill wandering vampires. Sutherland is superlative as her mentor and guide, and Reubens the prior Pee-wee Herman is fun as one of the fanged bullies. Look for Ben Affleck as a basketball player. Cast includes Kristy Swanson, Donald Sutherland, Paul Reubens, Rutger Hauer, Luke Perry, and Gregson Wagner. (86 minutes, 1992)

Remember, be creative and use phrases like "Download Music And Movies". If that phrase gets you nowhere, try another phrase. See if "Downloading Music" gets a better result.
